You (just about) get what you pay for.
Make sure all the dowels are hammered fully into the holes. If they don't go right down to the bottom of the hole, then the other end won't fit snugly into the corresponding component - creating a gap. However, what you have to watch on this wardrobe is the depth(back to front). It is only 460mm interior depth. You have therefore to make sure you use coat hangers that are only about 410mm wide. if you use hangers any wider than this, when clothes are on them, they will spring the doors open. My conclusion to this wardrobe is,you just about get what you pay for.Any dearer and it would be a poor deal. With hidesight(wonderful thing, hindesight), I would have prefered to spend an extra £40 to £60,or so,on a better product.
